A/N: I ship Eleven/Amy a ridiculous amount, which goes against everything I've always held in terms of Doctor/Companion shipping (ie. don't), so this is my way of reasoning it. That and resolving my love of them with events in recent episodes. Un beta-ed so all mistakes are mine, and I'll apologise in advance for rambling in the style of fanfic.

Stories are simple. They have a beginning, a middle, and an end. Life isn't, and life doesn't.
(a/n written for syd15's promt in the Castle Fic Fest. the prompt was 'castle and beckett slept together before 1x01. it gets a little cheesy towards the end, which i apologise for. i was very close to pushing up the rating to nc-17 (well, adding smut), but finally decided against it. let me know what you think )
